A Bill to amend and reenact section twenty, article six, chapter
twelve of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred
thirty-one, as amended, relating to continuing the West
Virginia investment management board.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That section twenty, article six, chapter twelve of the code
of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as
amended, be amended and reenacted to read as follows:
ARTICLE 6. WEST VIRGINIA INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT BOARD.
§12-6-20. Termination of board.
Pursuant to the provisions of article ten, chapter four of
this code, the West Virginia investment management board shall
continue to exist until the first day of July,
one thousand nine
hundred ninety-nine two thousand.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to continue the West
Virginia Investment Management Board until July 1, 2000, pursuant
to the provisions of the West Virginia Sunset Law.

This bill is recommended by the Joint Committee on Government
Operations for passage during the 1999 Regular Session of the
Legislature.
